The beach of Marina grande is perhaps the easiest to reach and therefore much more suitable for families with children. Although it is on one side of the port, it has among the cleanest and crystal clear waters, being right in front of the gulf of Naples and therefore more subject to currents. Reachable by funicular, the bus service runs every 15 minutes or on foot, it also has a disabled access.
