This splendid walk can start from two points: from the Belvedere of Tragara or from Matermania. We recommend starting along via Longano, then via Sopramonte and, at the intersection, take via Matermania, and along the road where you also arrive at the Arco Naturale.

At the height of the restaurant Le Grottelle, the stairs that will lead you to the Grotta di Matermania, an ancient Roman nymphaeum of Capri and mithraeum dedicated to the ancient cults dedicated to the goddess Mitra, begin downhill. From here, continue the descent and enjoy the magic of unspoiled nature.

This small road, in fact, will show you some of the most beautiful spots on the island and will give you the feeling of being able to touch the famous Faraglioni first-hand, as you can see them from above and from very close. Along the way, you can also admire the Villa di Malaparte, built on Punta Massullo.
