Sports and solidarity came together for the National Singing Team in Capri. The “Germano Bladier” San Costanzo field was packed to full capacity for the event titled “Il grande cuore di Capri” (The Great Heart of Capri), which reached its climax with a football match between the National Italian Singers, led by Enrico Ruggeri, and the “Pazzi per Capri” team.
Singers, artists, sports figures, and showbiz personalities, with Claudia Gerini as the event’s godmother and testimonial, and Givova as the technical sponsor, all gathered in Capri for a worthy cause. Among the participants were Enrico Ruggeri, Bugo, Il Tre, Moreno Donadoni, Paolo Vallesi, Sergej Sacky, Maninni, Bnkr44, LDA, Aka7even, Cricca, Antonio Orefice, Virginio, Kid Lost, Moreno Conficconi, Diego Maradona Junior, Ubaldo Pantani, Sal Da Vinci, and Fabio Galante.
The entire proceeds from ticket sales, which sold out quickly, will go to the Cooperativa Sociale Onlus Litografi Vesuviani. The goal of the event was to contribute in a tangible way to spreading the culture of respect and social inclusion for people with mental health issues, through the shared values of sports and entertainment.
It also provided an opportunity for music and sports fans, especially younger audiences, to meet their idols. Some of the participants also took part in live performances and artistic displays, all while supporting a charitable cause with a small contribution.
The event kicked off in the morning with a crowded press conference at the Donna Lucia Morgano hall of the Grand Hotel Quisisana.
